Sunday, July 17th • 10:00 am

Join us at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 17th in person or streaming live on Facebook, as we continue our sermon series, I’ve Been Meaning to Ask…. On Sunday we will examine “I’ve Been Meaning to Ask…What Do You Need?” (Job 2:11-13)

We believe everyone has needs, but each of us needs different things at different times. God calls us to care for one another—in seasons of joy, transition, and hardship. How can we commit to listening and being present in the ways in which those around us need the most? What do we do with our own needs and worries while we do this?

Visitors will learn about the 19th and 20th century foundations of redlining, how the private practice became federal policy during the Great Depression, the expansion of the practice during postwar suburbanization, attempts to dismantle the system during the Civil Rights Era, and how the legacies of redlining continue to impact communities around the nation today.”

Tickets will be around $10 per adult (regular ticket plus group tour ticket.)  After our tour we will gather at First Watch to discuss what we experienced during this time and learned from the exhibit. All ages are welcome.

See You on Sunday!

Sunday, July 10th • 10:00 am

We never know just from looking at someone where they have been in their life and what they have gone through. Everyone carries hurt and also, everyone has the capacity to acknowledge the pain of others. God draws us close in every moment of our suffering. How can being vulnerable help our compassion? How can we be present for one another in ways that shares God’s love?
