Youth will not meet on Sunday, November 17.

Monday, November 18 • Micah Ministry Service Project.

Youth meet at the church at 4:30 pm to travel to Micah Ministry. Youth will return to church by 8:00 pm. Bring money for dinner at McDonald’s. Transportation & medical form required. Chaperones are needed for this event. If you are interested in chaperoning or have questions, email Patt Ludwick, director of family ministry.

Sunday, November 10 is the work day for generosity month and the Heifer Project. Youth will meet following second service for a pizza lunch. Carpool to members homes to do light chores for donations to the Heifer Project. Return to church by 5:00 pm for parent pick up. Transportation & medical form must be filled out and returned to participate.

Sunday, October 20: Hayride at Shawnee Mission Park 5-8:00 pm. Youth meet at church at 5:00 pm. We will have an hour long hay ride through Shawnee Mission Park then followed by S’mores at a bonfire. Cost is $10. Sign up with Patt or Jack on Sunday or email Patt at familyministry@shawneecommunity.org. Permission slip is required.

Youth will meet at the church at 9:00 am and return by 1:00 pm. Youth will help sort and pack items at Harvesters. Parents are welcome to attend. RSVP to Patt Ludwick, director of family ministry. There are only 15 volunteer spots so RSVP soon!

Harvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. Harvesters provides food and related household products to more than 760 nonprofit agencies including emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others. Harvesters also offers education programs to increase community awareness of hunger and teach about good nutrition.

 A fun, overnight retreat at Tall Oaks for youth in grades 5-12. Youth will meet at the church at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 20 and return to church by 3:00 pm on Saturday.
