faith formation

Faith formation for adults happens in our Sunday evening "Practice" group which meets in Spring and Fall sessions (opportunities for students and children occur simultaneously).

The goal of The Practice sessions is to help adults learn, try, and study ideas and habits of faithfulness that will bring the values of the kingdom of God-mercy, relationship, redemption, and joy into the lives of individuals, families, and neighborhoods.

Our next session of The Practice begins in Fall 2017.

elder covenant groups

Covenant Groups are part of our commitment to one another as members and/or regular participants at SCCC. Led by our church Elders (women and men who serve in leadership), these groups gather quarterly for fellowship and friendship, serve together on local mission projects, and care for one another in moments of joy and crisis as church family. Anyone who considers themselves a shareholder in the ministry of SCCC can participate in these groups. Email info@shawneecommunity.org for more information.
