Disciple Makers Mission Project

As part of our Disciple Makers class we have talked about how we can best serve God and our community. The class has thoughtfully considered several area needs to support and decided that a need that was meaningful to them and best represented how they feel they can live out Jesus’ love for the community in their own lives is the Great Plains SPCA.

They have picked the Great Plains SPCA to support as our church wide mission project for the next month. Great Plains SPCA provides services for about 4,000 animals a year. They partner with seven shelters in the metro area as well as provide care for homeless pets, reuniting lost pets with their owners, serving through their HERO program, collaboration with Puppies for Parole, public behavior classes and their Pet Food Pantry program.

Please support our Disciple Makers and Great Plains SPCA through donations of wet or dry cat and dog food, peanut butter, jerky treats, soft treats, paper towels, household cleaners. New or gently used beds, blankets, towels, toys, pet food/water bowls, kennels, and newspaper. You can also make a monetary donation that will be passed along to Great Plains SPCA.

Disciple Makers will be collecting these supplies through April 16th and you can drop off any of these supplies at the church.

Sunday is the last day to meet our goal of 400 pairs of socks for guests of Hope Faith. We have 378 pairs of socks!!! We are SO close to our goal!! WE CAN DO IT!
Even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors. Thank you for your donations and helping us live out our mission to serve our neighbors here and around the world!

Socktober: October Mission Project

There are two more Sundays to reach our goal of 400 pairs of socks for guests of Hope Faith. Even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors.
A donation bucket is located at the Children’s Ministry check-in desk. Thank you for your donations and helping us live out our mission to serve our neighbors here and around the world!

Socktober: October Mission Project

During the month of October, the kids in Children’s Ministry challenged the church to collect at least 50 pairs of new socks for adult men and women who are guests at Hope Faith Homeless Ministries Campus. We surpassed that goal and now the children have raised the goal to 100! Hope Faith reached out and they are in great need of thick socks for the upcoming winter months. A donation bucket is located at the Children’s Ministry check-in desk. Thank you for your donations and helping us live out our mission to serve our neighbors here and around the world! Even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless.

Hope Faith-Homeless Assistance Campus works to alleviate homelessness and poverty by providing basic necessities and assistance, as well as, providing critical services and programs to empower individuals experiencing homelessness and at-risk individuals to become self-sufficient and independent.

Socktober: October Mission Project

Each night in the United States, more than 500,000 people live on the streets. During the month of October, the kids in Children’s Ministry have challenged the church to collect at least 50 pairs of new socks for adult men and women who are guests at Hope Faith Homeless Ministries Campus. Even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless.

A donation bucket is located at the Children’s Ministry check-in desk. On Sunday, take a look around and see all the hard work the kids have put in to making posters and a donation tracker in the lobby. Thank you for your donations and helping us live out our mission to serve our neighbors here and around the world!
