Sunday, May 27 will be a day of service at Shawnee Community. In partnership with the organization, Something to Eat, we will package meals for food insecure families both locally and globally. Many of the meals we will pack will stay right here in Kansas City to help feed the 1 in 5 children in Kansas City who are food insecure.

We will gather at 10:00 am for a short service of communion and a couple of songs. Then, we will begin packing! Our goal is to pack 10,000 bags. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend for an hour of serving others.
