A Conversation About Lent, Ramadan & Passover

Merriam Christian Church and the Dialogue Institute will present a special conversation on Lent, Ramadan, and Passover on Wednesday, March 13 from 7-8:30 pm at Merriam Christian Church. The conversation will focus on the role Lent, Passover, and Ramadan traditionally have held in our faith communities and how they impact them today. The conversation will be led by Rev. Mark Willis of Merriam Christian Church, Dr. Eyyup Essen of the Dialogue Institute and Sheila Sonnenschein who sits on the national advisory board of the Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom, an organization that brings Jewish and Muslim women together in each other’s homes to build friendship and trust.
