Sunday, September 8 • Youth Ministry Bash

Youth, grades 5-12, it’s Launch Day for student ministry at Shawnee Community. Join us at 3:30 for food, games, friends, and find out what events are planned for this year! Parents will also meet and talk about the format of youth ministry, meet new staff and volunteers, and find out what is planned for this year. Parents, don’t worry, there will be food for you, too!

 

Looking Ahead:

• Youth Ministry Fundraiser on Sunday, September 15 following the 10:30 service. Youth will be hosting a walking taco lunch for the all church lunch. All youth who will be attending the youth ministry retreat are expected help out with the fundraiser. RSVP to Patt Ludwick, director of family ministry, if you will be able to help during the lunch.

• Sign up for food to bring.

 

• Youth Ministry Retreat at Tall Oaks, September 20-21. A fun, overnight retreat at Tall Oaks for youth in grades 5-12. Youth will meet at the church at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 20 and return to church by 3:00 pm on Saturday. RSVP to Patt Ludwick, director of family ministry.
