Impact of the 2017 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act on Charitable Giving

The new tax law created sweeping changes in the tax law, including a reduction in tax rates and an increase in the standard deductions. A great deal of conversation is swirling among charitable organizations, nonprofits, and houses of worship to determine what, if any, the changes will have on charitable giving. Giving will take new and different forms, and churches need to be aware of alternative ways to give to suggest to members.

A one-hour presentation will be led by Kirby Gould, Vice-President of the Christian Church Foundation. The program is free, all are welcome to attend, and no RSVP is needed.
