Recurring/Scheduled Giving

Manage or setup automated recurring giving via Touchpoint at your preferred schedule. Please remember to give first to our General Ministry Operation Fund, the heartbeat of our church's financial mission, which supports all of the ministries, staff support, local and global missions of our church through planned budgeting. Registration with Touchpoint will also allow you immediate access to giving statements and enable you to update your contact info as you need to.

Setting up your SCCC MyData account gives you access to your giving and attendance information, allows you to update your contact information and family photos, and provides instant information for church directories.

Step 1

Click here to go to access the login page for your church’s TouchPoint database. This link is also available any time on our webpage at shawneecommunity.org/giving.

Step 2

Click Need an Account? Request Password.

Step 3

Enter the email address that you believe our church has on record and press Request Password. You will receive an email containing your username.

Step 4

Click on your username in the email. Then click the Reset Password button. Enter the password once and again to confirm it. Press Set Password and then press Return to Home. You will now be viewing your people record. You can use this section to obtain giving statements, update contact and family info, and to provide pictures of your family.

Note

If you do not receive the email mentioned above, check your junk/spam folder first to see if it went there. If not, then there is probably not a good email address on your record or we may need to set up your record in the database. Please contact Sherry Radcliffe at giving@shawneecommunity.org so that she can update your personal information and provide you with access.

Once you have a user account, you can log on at any time to check your giving history and update your family information. Also, you can log on using your email address in place of your username as long as it is the email address on your record.

our financial values

SCCC is committed to sustainable financial stewardship of your gifts so that more of our resources support real hands-on ministry. If you are a member of or committed worshiper at SCCC, we ask you to consider making planned and scheduled giving to our General Ministry Fund the first part of your financial commitment to helping us live our common ministry together, supporting mission in Shawnee and around the world.

Our vision for stewardship includes:

-Giving a minimum of 10% of our resources to organizations and partners we trust to do ministry in Shawnee and around the world. This includes Shawnee Community Services (a local food and clothing pantry), Micah Ministry (a good and clothing pantry in the urban core of Kansas City), and the Global Mission of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) that supports humanitarian efforts like clean drinking water, health care, education, and relief work to impoverished people in the United States and around the world.

-Spending 50% or more of our budget on ministry staffing.

-Spending 5% or more of our budget on in-house ministries, including free community events, children and student ministry, and worship.

-Spending 35% or less of our budget on administrative and building expenses (Communications Ministry, rent and utilities, and janitorial services, etc.).

-Encouraging, providing educational opportunities for, and empowering committed members and worshipers to begin the journey of financial health and low-debt living while increasing financial generosity within their own abilities and budget.

Please note: We have transitioned to a new online giving system. All gifts scheduled and account information from our older system will end on June 1st, 2016.

Use the buttons below to give online via our new system, Touchpoint Software.
