Sunday, November 28th • 10:00 am

Sunday, November 28th is the first Sunday of Advent. Join us at 10:00 am in person or on Facebook as we begin our Advent sermons series, Home for the Holidays. Where is home and how does being there make you feel? Do you feel at home with God? For some folks home is a place of joy, comfort, and security while for others it can be a complicated and uncertain place. This Advent our sermon series will focus on ways we experience home, and how God is with us however we feel about home.

On Sunday, we will explore the topic of Home for the Holidays: Safely Home. Many things in our lives can make us feel unsafe or unwelcome. Where do we turn when we have those experiences and where is God in the uncertainty of what’s happening? How can we make sure we are not the ones making others feel unsafe or unwelcome in the places we are present?

We can’t wait to worship with you in person or online. We will save a seat for you!

Join Us for Worship on Sunday

Sunday, November 21st • 10:00 am

Join us on Sunday at 10:00 am, in person or online, as we wrestle with Tension at the Table. For some people Thanksgiving is a time of reuniting with those we love and for others it’s a time of obligation, and we can find ourselves sharing a meal with folks with whom we disagree on many issues. How do we hold the tension of remaining faithful to our values as we believe Jesus calls us to do and loving one another when we don’t see eye to eye? Is it about keeping peace and letting things go? When and how do we speak our mind? And what if those with us at the same table are asking themselves the same questions?

This isn’t a sermon of answers–it’s a sermon of wrestling with the hard question of how do we remain in relationship with people who might not share our most important core values.
